TRUMP vs BRICS : Trump 500% tarif on India

Trump's 500% Tariff on Russian Oil Buyers: The Full Truth About America's New Sanctions on India

New Delhi/Washington: The whole world's eyes are currently fixed on the White House. President Donald Trump has taken a step that has shaken the global market and especially India's trade policies. By supporting the "Sanctioning Russia Act of 2025," Trump has made it clear that countries trading with Russia will now have to pay a heavy price.

In the coming days, relations between India and the United States may sour, as Donald Trump is taking anti-India steps in areas ranging from tariffs to trade and other sectors. Considering this, it can be said that Trump is taking anti-India measures. A bill is about to be passed in the US Congress that could impose a 500% tariff on India.

In fact, the US is trying to inflict economic damage on Russia.  For this purpose, the Trump administration is planning to introduce a law in its parliament that would impose a 500% tariff on any country that buys oil from Russia. This move by America could potentially end the Russia-Ukraine war. However, it's worth noting that America is also making a huge profit from this tariff.

In the United States, preparations are in full swing for a strict and restrictive new law against Russia.

Will India stop buying Russian oil ?

Two significant moves by the U.S. President:

1. Pressure to Stop Buying Oil from Russia (500% Tariff Threat)

The U.S. is considering a bill called the "Decoupling Russia Act 2025."

The Threat: India, China, and Brazil could face a 500% tariff (import duty) if they continue to buy, refine, or trade Russian oil.

Goal: The U.S. wants to stop the flow of money to Russia's treasury, which helps fund their military actions.

Impact on India: India has been buying cheaper Russian oil to keep its energy costs down. If this law passes, it could force India to choose between cheap oil and trade relations with the U.S.

2. Withdrawal from 66 Global Organizations

Trump has decided to cut ties with 66 international bodies, claiming they are against American interests and security.

The Reason: He described these organizations as "futility" and a waste of American taxpayer money.

The Reaction: The United Nations has expressed concern, stating that they have received official notice regarding the U.S. withdrawal from various agreements.

Energy Experts: Warn that if the 500% tariff is strictly applied, it will create a massive crisis in the global petroleum market and cause prices to skyrocket in India.

Foreign Policy Experts: See this as a test of India's "Strategic Autonomy." It will be difficult for India to balance its friendship with the U.S. while protecting its own economic interests.

Economists: Believe that if India is forced to stop buying cheap Russian oil and buy from the U.S. or Middle East instead, petrol and diesel prices will rise significantly, leading to high

A new law is about to be introduced in the US Congress.

Lindsey Graham :Preparations for the new bill have intensified in the US!

After a very productive meeting today with President Trump on a variety of issues, he greenlit the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill that I have been working on for months with Senator Blumenthal and many others.

This will be well-timed, as Ukraine is making concessions for peace and Putin is all talk, continuing to kill the innocent.

This bill will allow President Trump to punish those countries who buy cheap Russian oil fueling Putin’s war machine.

This bill would give President Trump tremendous leverage against countries like China, India and Brazil to incentivize them to stop buying the cheap Russian oil that provides the financing for Putin’s bloodbath against Ukraine.

I look forward to a strong bipartisan vote, hopefully as early as next week.
